Trauma Preparedness Course

 

Overview

Target audience: Ambulance paramedics, who need to identify the function of equipment and scene safety for ambulance and other emergency personnel

Course summary: This course focuses on the pre-hospital environment and is designed to prepare and upskill the remote, rural and isolated health workforce. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. At the end of the course, students should be able to work with their team, in order to respond to medical emergencies and trauma appropriately, in their respective organisations.
