The Foot Health Assessment Program

 

Overview

Target audience: Health professionals providing care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Course summary: The Foot Health Assessment Program is designed to provide skills and knowledge and detailed information and advice in relation to foot health management.

On the successful completion of the program, participants should have the ability to safely perform:

The program is evidence based and the techniques taught are designed to promote the best practice outcomes for patient care. This program has been designed to provide the student with the opportunity to gain or consolidate knowledge and skills in basic foot care assessment management and referral.

The Foot Health Assessment Program has been endorsed by the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association according to approved quality standards criteria. Successful completion of this educational activity entitles eligible participants to claim 12 CPD hours.
